Robins are a traditional sign of spring even through I saw them around all winter. Still this one was kind of plump and just sitting in the tree begging to be photographed.

This may not be a "super moon" but I am applying what I learned from that experience. Leaving the office one of my co-workers challenged me to take the picture. I told him it was too late. too dark but he wanted me to take it anyway. I still think earlier would have been better because I could have got some other detail, but here's what I got.

At the Minuteman National Historical Park a saw a woman in Colonial Dress. She gave permission for me to take her picture and to publish it on one condition. That is that she wants everyone to know that she is a Park Ranger.

Day 102~ April 12, 2011 Nemasket River "Little Falls"

Little Falls is my name for the mini waterfalls  at the Herring Run on the Nemasket. I have taken a lot of pictures of these falls. This one is a little different because a piece of wood has jammed at the base of the falls creating a "rooster tail" so the falls is looking a little different.

I was trying to get a shot of the mist rising from the water at dawn but I ended up liking this picture the best even though the mist isn't as prominent in this picture as in some others I took.

Today I am going to deviate a little from the program. The  Challenge is a photo-a-day but today when I went out into the sunshine of a cool, bright, early spring day, I saw that it really is spring. I share with you 4 signs of spring!

Day 95~ March 5, 2011 2 AM Cat

2 AM is not the best time for taking pictures. The light is low and artificial. Rocky had me up any way so I pushed the ISO up and snapped away. Not too bad for being half asleep at the time.

Day 94 ~ April 4, 2011 Good Morning from the Cat

When I went to bed I heard Rocky "talking" to himself. Little mews, plaintive meows and "merrups". I called to him but he didn't come. He did get quiet. But when I got up in the morning it was clear what had kept him so engrossed. He had "trashed" my desk.  Receipts, notes, brochures, coupons, old lottery tickets..all over. Under the desk the trash can was knocked over and the contents dragged out. I documented the destruction but I refuse to share the worst. Here is the calling card that gave him away. Maybe he thought I'd blame the toy!

Day 91~April 1, 2011 Let them Eat Cake
